Buyer beware - false advertising at its worst!! Thanks a lot Blue Ridge Adventure Park.
Be warned, this place false advertises on their own website!
We actually had a great time right up until the kids were not allowed to complete course after we all got excited about doing the whole thing.
Told 15 minute wait. After an hour told another hour. Guy came in from obstacles whining about his job. Had already paid and was told no refunds. Did not plan to spend whole day waiting fgor them to care about customers.
This park does not have set hours. We called a day before to make sure that they will be open. We drove for over an hour to get to the park and the park was closed. When we called we were told that they decided the evening before not to open.
Our 12 year old Grandson absolutely loved this place. It stretches people to keep going, don't give up and builds self esteem. Extremely impressed at how close the trainers stay to everyone. It was a great experience!
Fine, if that's the rule, then that's the rule. But I never would have bought a $50 ticket for myself had we known this in advance. All the manager said afterwards was "sorry sir, I don't handle the website, that's the rule, sorry you had a bad time". Nice customer service!
Our 12 year olds had a lit of fun, but it was a bit pricey. The male staff were not very friendly while helping get the kids geared up and looked like they did not want to be there. That said, it provided a challenge that will not be soon forgotten, so it is still worth trying!
My kids (ages 14 and 11) love ropes courses and wanted to try this one while we were in town visiting family. Since the website said that anyone ages 10-14 must be accompanied by an adult to do the highest level, I bought a $50 ticket for myself also to accompany them on the top, most challenging course. Not until we checked in, geared up, completed levels 1 and 2 and waited on the platform to go up to level 3 did we hear the bad news. The guide then tells us that the rules have changed an no one under 15 can do level 3!
