The owners & staff are super friendly and remember our names & carry certain candies & drinks we stop there just to buy!! Plus they have an air hose for your tires and it's free so you don't have to pay for it which is unheard of now a days!! And they have some of the cheapest gas in town & the cleanest bathrooms and store!! And they are one of the only gas stations in our small town that stays open 24 hrs..

The Blue Ridge Conoco has been around for a pretty long time. It is the closest thing to a "mom & pop" gas station left in the city limits. Gas prices average about $0.01 above whatever's cheapest in town, and I'll gladly pay that extra penny for a shop that's locally owned. They carry ethanol free gasoline at one of the pumps, you can pump without paying first, and they always have fresh coffee, which they give away free with a purchase of gasoline. You can find the locals congregating there every morning, especially on weekdays. As a life long local myself, no other station in town gets my business.
