If you've shopped at Publix before, this is actually a step above that. The store has a small Starbucks in operation that you'll encounter immediately upon entering. That's great but, many grocery chains offer coffee (some for free). What I thought was particularly cool about their in-store drink offerings was the fact that each shopping cart is actually outfitted with a cupholder. That might seem like an insignificant accommodation to some but, I imagine I'm not the only person who has forgone purchasing a drink at the store in the past because I didn't want to have to juggle things while I was busy shopping.

The rest of the store is a standard aisle layout like any other grocery chain. Prices can be a bit higher than other discount-type grocery chains, of course. Also, you're essentially forced to join their loyalty program to get the lowest price. It's free, of course. Big Brother just wants to know everything about you.

Great place to shop!!! Clean, organized, helpful staff!!! Now they need to add online ordering and delivery....I'm spoiled by that service in Portland, Oregon. That would make Ingles STELLAR!!!!

Wow I love Ingles we come every year from Florida and I can't wait to go grocery shopping there's everything that you could imagine everything looks so fresh and appealing and the staff are amazing everyone is so friendly

Very clean with friendly staff at the ready.

The first time I entered the store, I was immediately impressed with their fresh prepared food offerings. In the deli department you'll see a salad bar style buffet where you can purchase items in just the quantity you need. Great for those days when you just don't have the energy to DIY dinner and want to skip the drive through.

On the subject of coffee, it's worth noting that Ingles is one of the few chains who still sell whole bean coffee and actually have a commercial grinder in store. A nice amenity for who hate paying for overpriced grounds that taste old the minute you open the 'sealed for freshness' bag.

Ok... it's a grocery store. BUT the products these guys make and sell are all delicious! They have a little eating area too, so try the yummyness!

Everything you could need is at this awesome store, cold beer, baked goods, Starbucks, deli, seafood, organic stuff! The cashier, Dana, got me to sign up for the rewards card, which saved me money! She was so sweet! Wish we had an Ingles where I live!

The layout and appearance of the deli/bakery area is just, well... nice. People seem to congregate in that section. Not just to shop but to chat with family/fellow shoppers or employees while they enjoy their drinks or wait for their deli orders. A strange departure from attitudes found at chain stores in large cities where everyone is just their to complain about how long everything takes (regardless of how quickly it actually occurs) and to blame others for their own lack of preparedness and poor time management.

Nonetheless, being able to visit the store on my way home and feeling less stressed than I did when I left the office is worth it in my book.
